Catch As Catch Can
LEVEL: Beginner
FORMATION: For 3, 4, or 5 couples

1st and 2nd cpls right hands across and left hands back.

Domino Five
LEVEL: Beginner
FORMATION: A 5-person dance:
1-4 are in a square, 5 is in the center

LEVEL: Beginner
FORMATION: A 3-cpl set

1st couple lead down 3 steps, lead up 3 steps, cast into second place and face down.   2nd couple step up on bars 7-8.
9-16
1st, 2nd, and 3rd couples dance grand chain, 1st couple giving right hands to 3rd couple to begin.
17-20
1st couple set advancing to face 1st corners, then turn 1st corners with both hands to end 1st woman between 2nd couple, 1st man between 3rd couple.
21-24
1st couple repeat 17-20 with 2nd corners, finishing in 2nd place on opposite sides.
25-32
1st couple repeat 17-20 with partner’s corners, ending in 2nd place on own sides.
33-40
1st couple cross up giving left hands, cast around 2nd couple into 2nd place on opposite sides, cross giving right hands and cast down to 3rd place.   3rd couple step up on bars 39-40.

Flower of Scotland
FORMATION: A 2-cpl dance
TEMPO: 24 Jig
1-4
1st & 2nd cpl dance right hands across.
5-8
1st & 2nd cpl dance left hands across.

1st cpl leads down and back to 2nd place.  2nd cpl steps up on 11 & 12.

1st cpl turn partner by right hand.

Flowers of Edinburgh
FORMATION: A 3-cpl dance

Grant's Reel
LEVEL: Beginner
FORMATION: A 2-cpl dance

LEVEL: Intermediate
FORMATION: A 3-cpl dance

1st cpl lead down two steps and turn by the left hand to face first corners; 2nd cpl step up on bars 5 & 6.

The women set, advance, retire, set; the men stand, set, advance, retire.
25-32
2nd, 1st, and 3rd cpls cross giving right hands, then circle six hands round to the left halfway; cross giving left hands, then circle six hands round to the right halfway.

Merry Reapers
FORMATION: A 3-cpl dance

1st cpl cast behind own line and meet below 3rd cpl.

1st cpl lead right hand in right to the top.

1st cpl cast into 2nd place, 2nd cpl step up.

2nd, 1st and 3rd cpls circle around to the left and back.

2nd, 1st, and 3rd cpls turn partners right hand.

Rocky Road Reel
LEVEL: Beginner

Taking hands on the sides, all advance and retire, twice.

SCOOP OUT THE ICE CREAM FROM THE CONTAINER:
1st cpl leads down the middle and back.

PLOP THE ICE CREAM ON TOP OF THE CONE:
1st & 2nd cpls dance right hands across; left hands back.
25-28
THE ICE CREAM DRIPS DOWN THE SIDE OF THE CONE:
1st cpl casts on own sides, followed by all the other dancers.
29-32
WIPE IT UP WITH A NAPKIN:
1st cpl makes a two-handed arch, the other cpls dance under the arch, and up to new places with nearer hands.
  Finish in lines ready to dance again. This dance is designed to be expandable; adjust the phrasing accordingly.

The Dashing White Sergeant
LEVEL: Beginner
FORMATION: Lines of 3 facing lines of 3

The Pleasures of Lorraine
FORMATION: For couples in a circle
