Our goal is to promote and increase membership into the dance troupe.  It is not necessary to be a member of the troupe to join us for FREE lessons.

You may be wondering just what is Scottish Country Dance.  Scottish county dancing is a lot like American square dancing.  It usually involves groups of 4 to 8 people forming sets or lines.

You are not required to have partner with you when going to a class or event.  This is a very social form of dance and often of mixed sex, meaning that it is perfectly acceptable for the women to dance on the men's side of the line, since there are usually more women then men at a function.

The music is usually upbeat and played on various instruments.  Such as fiddles, accordions, flutes, pianos, and drums and on rare occasion yes even the Noble instrument itself the bagpipes.

These are some of our dancing pictures.  Come back often and look, because they will change automatically around the first of every month.
